Paul Bunyan's Halloween Party

The economy is bad, sales have sunk, summer is over. Portland's Paul Bunyan thought that was reason enough to throw a Halloween Party! You can see the "party picture" on the home page of our Fine Art Photography website. By the way, the snapshots used for the picture are in our opinion from the greatest carnival in the world -Fasnacht in Basel Switzerland-.

Paul Bunyan moved to the Gorge

With the heat wave that we've had here in Portland, we thought that Kenton's statue of Paul Bunyan could use a vacation from his spot in front of the Wells Fargo at the intersection of N Intertstate and N Denver Streets, so, we moved him to the Columbia River Gorge to cool him off.
We're now offering this print as a 16 x 20 gallery-wrap canvas

Paul Turns 50

No, this handsome devil isn't in Minnesota. Not in North Dakota, either. Montana? Nope. This grinning Paul Bunyan resides in the Kenton neighborhood, here in Portland, Oregon. And he's just hit the big 5-0. That's because Oregon just celebrated its 150th birthday last weekend and Mr. Bunyan was erected for Oregon's Centennial in 1959. Happy Birthday, Big Fella!

Speaking of Kenton. . . Fellow Portland Etsy artist Kenton Beadworks has some beautiful hand-crafted jewelry that you should check out.
