Original and Innovative Facades

How about some original painted facades . . . Although from different eras and styles, each is as  beautiful and original as it gets.

The house in Stein am Rhein, Switzerland (above left) is owned by Malermeister Seibel and has been painted by himself. (Detlef Seibel) (Photo Dreamstime.com)

The Kansas City Public Library's parking garage is known as the Community Bookshelf and was built by the Design Firm Dimentional Innovations. Probably the most unconventional garage facade ever!

The beautiful Fresco painted on the house at the Obere Gasse in Chur, Switzerland was painted by unknown and photographed by Yvonne Mestre of Mesman Images
