Japanese Garden Poster

We just found out that one of our images has been chosen for a new poster at the Portland Japanese Garden. The series of posters represents the four seasons; ours is Summer.

Etsy artist of the day:

We love the work of Laura Sue of Earth Art in Springfield, Tennessee. Her composition, choice of colors, and interesting textures really make her art stand out. You can see some of her work, like the paintings below, in her Etsy shop: EarthArt

Thanks for supporting independent artists and buying hand-made!

Tomorrow night, November 5th, marks the final First Thursday "Art Walk" of the season on NW 13th in the Pearl District, here in Portland. It's a great opportunity to do some early holiday shopping and to support local artists. It's also a chance to buy some unique, reasonably-priced, hand-made gifts that will be appreciated much more than something that you'd find at the mall!

Our booth is on NW 13th between Hoyt and Irving.

We've been working on a series of triptychs comprised of images captured on Ektachrome, then intentionally distressed by applying filters, giving them a "vintage" appearance.
We're initially offering them in mats, but we'll also make them available in frames upon your request.

We hope to see everyone tomorrow night from 6 to 10 in the Pearl!
